At the time this photo was taken, we had just received a pretty big snowfall at the Mason-Dixon line, as well as what seemed to be the largest amount of snow my dog had seen at this point in his life. I was teaching him to fetch snowballs and he was having a blast! I tried to capture his joy and excitement over the falling snow, and fresh icy treats, in this collage from my "snow series."

This set of images also reminds me of my own personal joy growing up with snow days that were filled with little surprises.
