"Compline 2" is the companion painting to "Compline 1", from my series entitled "Dusk". This painting series captures the luminosity and shadows of sunset. The thickness and layering of the brushwork reveal washes of color, implying a landscape that glows and shimmers in the approaching night. Golds, luminescent blues, washes of pale pink, violets and white. "Compline 1 and 2" are available in this auction.

Helen is an architect, designer and artist who graduated from Princeton University and Parsons School of Design in New York City.
