"Birds in Flight" 2010 | Oil on Canvas | Size = 24" X 30"

Having been raised close to the beach area, I have seen these birds in flight numerous times from the shore,  airplanes and  boats. 

This time I was stirred by their eagarness in flight since I was watching them approach a bridge which gave me an entire new perception. Looking for their evening meal towards sunset, they were serious and aggressive.
