"Live Oak Dream" 2010 | Digital Painting on Panel with Acrylic after Application  Edition - One of a Kind | Size = 12" X 12"

I just finished this digital painting of a hill side in Valencia, California. I am very taken with the deep dark color of the live oak trees standing out in the golden grasses on hillsides around California.

My method of digital painting entails creating the image in my computer using painting software that recreates brush strokes and pallet knife strokes. To heighten the textural quality of this one-of-a-kind piece, it is mounted on a panel and acrylic medium and paint is applied to augment the digital brush strokes.
