Cari Byers is the designer and creator of Green Tease and currently lives and creates in Las Vegas NV. A recently retired Folies Bergere showgirl, she is following her passion for fashion and our planet. Each Green Tease design is made exclusively from recycled t shirts and/or used clothing. Our disposible society is reflected in the number of cast off perfectly good T shirts. Cari sees inspiration in these t's and brings them a new fashionable life. Each creation is a one of a kind form of eco-friendly wearable art. No two are alike.
Not exactly sure when she learned to sew. Growing up in an artistic family in Albuquerque NM, Mom was a costume designer and Dad a set designer. Cari began crafting and creating at a young age. Always encouraged to be creative and follow her heart she has always had her hands creating something. It was in high school that the reconstructing of cloths began and has never stopped. It wasn't until forced retirement from show business that Cari realized she could follow her other passions - fashion and the environment. And do it together. That is how Green Tease was born.
