For three years, Marie Wise studied and painted wind turbines. Her series of paintings, titled 'Power of the Wind' have been featured in a solo show, and are the subject of her new book, also titled 'Power of the Wind'.

This painting shows a solitary wind turbine churning in a Vincent Van Gogh inspired sky. Marie has studied the work of Vincent Van Gogh, and believes if wind turbines had existed during his time, he would have painted them with gusto! Marie believes wind power is important to the future of our planet, and many of her paintings are devoted to the subject of wind energy.
