"Hemlock Harbor Bridge #6" 2009 | Oil on Linen | Size = 11" X 14"

I painted this oil on linen in October of last year. This quaint bridge provides access to the homes on a small island in Lake Sunapee, New Hampshire.

I have painted this scene several times in varying kinds of weather, in different seasons, and at different times of day. I am drawn to the serenity of the view and the changeability of the cloud formations, which are usually over the lake.
