This young Calgary, AB photographer explores her inner psyche and dream states with her camera. She is representative of a new wave of young, brilliant artists emerging on the art scene from art schools in the northeastern United States and in Canada.

With this piece I wanted to visually explore my search for the true identity that lies beneath the mask, or my censored self.  I step out of the darkness that is the roles insisted upon me, to see the stranger I have allowed myself to become.  I long to find a friend within my true self, no matter what may conspire in the world outside my window.
